WE HAVE HAD SEVEN REPORTED FIGHTS WHERE KIDS HAVE GOTTEN H TALKING ABOUT THE KIDS INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT.

WE'VE HAD AT LEAST CONFIRMED FOUR SEXUAL ASSAULTS AND I'M REALLY MAD AND I'M PASSIONATE BECAUSE MY SON AND OTHER STUDENTS WERE PHOTOGRAPHED IN THE BATHROOM.

I'M ASKING THAT FROM NOW ON YOU HAVE APD DO INVESTIGATIONS OF THOSE MATTERS BECAUSE IT'S CRIMINAL.

YOU SHOULD NOT DEMAND THAT THE PARENTS CALL APD TO REPORT THEIR KIDS GETTING SEXUALLY ASSAULTED, INJURED, FOUGHT, BULLIED, OTHER THINGS BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW THE INVOLVEMENT OF SOME OF THE ADULTS AT THESE SCHOOLS.

EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE IS ABUNDANT THAT MASKLESS KIDS WILL NOT LEAD TO WHAT YOU FEAR.

THE EUROPEAN CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION HAS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED AGAINST MASKING CHILDREN IN PRIMARY COOLS.

LET THIS PUT TO BED THE NOTION THAT WE ARE OPERATING UNDER SOME SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS ON THIS MATTER.

WE KNOW THAT DUE TO THE EXTREME AGE STRATIFICATION OF THIS VIRUS, THE CHILDREN ARE THE LEAST AT RISK DEMOGRAPHIC.

WE ALSO HAVE A READILY AVAILABLE VACCINE THAT'S FREE AS WELL AS NATURAL IMMUNITY.

WHILE CHILDREN ARE AT THE LOWEST RISK FROM COVID ITSELF, THEY SUFFERED THE MOST FROM THE MITIGATION MEASURES WE FORCED ON THEM.

THE SURGEON GENERAL HAS SAID HE'S SEEING UNPRECEDENTED LEVELS OF STRESS IN YOUNG PEOPLE, EATING DISORDER HOSPITALIZATIONS ARE SPIKING WHILE OBESITY RATES ARE DOUBLED.

SUSPECTED SUICIDE ATTEMPTS IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS ARE AT A RECORD LEVEL THIS YEAR.

THIS IS A PERSONAL INTEREST TO ME BECAUSE I SPENT A YEAR REACTING TO THE MOLD AT GW.

I'M ALSO A MEMBER OF STANDING FOR TOMORROW, A GROUP OF STUDENTS WHO SPENT 18 MONTHS GETTING A STATE LAW PASSED BECAUSE OF WHAT WE WITNESSED IN MANY CLASSROOMS. NOT MANY PEOPLE WHO COME TO THESE MEETINGS CAN SAY I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT LAW MEANS BUT I CAN BECAUSE I CREATED IT.

A PLAN TO REMEDIATE MOLD IN PUBLIC S [INDISCERNIBLE] WE COULDN'T GET ACPS FACILITIES TO HELP US.

WE COULDN'T GET THEM TO ENSURE OUR SAFETY.

WE ASKED AND THEY KEPT SAYING THERE WAS NO MOLD, DESPITE OUR DATA.

THEY TESTED FOR MOLD AFTER MONTHS OF ASKING AND WE WERE PROVEN RIGHT.

I WOULD LIKE TO URGE ACPS TO INCREASE FINNING IN THE BUDGET FOR ARTS OVERALL.

ACPS COULD HAVE A SCHOOL LIKE BALTIMORE SCHOOL OF THE ARTS OR DUKE ELLINGTON OR THE ART SCHOOL IN ALDENE, TEXAS.

ALSO, MORE SPECIFICALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD PLEASE INCREASE THE FTES FOR THEATER AND DANCE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.

THERE ARE CURRENTLY TWO FTES FOR THEATER AND ZERO FOR DANCE.

THE LARGEST HIGH SCHOOL IN THE STATE SHOULD HAVE TOP TIER PERFORMING ARTS OPPORTUNITIES THAT EXPOSE CHILDREN TO CAREER PATHS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS AND THAT LEAVE STUDENTS IN A POSITION TO AUDITION IN COLLEGE FOR ACTING, VOICE, AND DANCE PROGRAMS IF THEY SO DESIRE.

ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT HAS FIVE FTES AND 119 STIPEND POSITIONS.

THE PERFORMING ARTS DESERVE THE SAME FUNDING.

ARTS PROGRAMS IMPROVE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND COLLEGE ASPIRATIONS.

A 2017 STUDY SHOWS THAT DRAMA THERAPY INCLUDES MENTAL HEALTH.

THE PERFORMING ARTS OFFER OPPORTUNITIES TO TELL STORIES THAT NEED TO BE TOLD, BUILD CONFIDENCE, ALLOW SAFE RISK TAKING, HELP HEAL TRAUMA AND PROVIDE A SAFE COMMUNITY FOR STUDENTS.

THEY ALSO DECREASE REFERRALS FOR DISCIPLINE AND IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE NEXT VIP ROUND FOR SUPPORT STAFF WILL BE DUE ON FEBRUARY 15TH.

WITH THE UPDATES, YOU CAN SEE FROM THIS LANGUAGE THEY HAVE PUT SOME WORDING IN THAT DOES ALLOW FOR, IF NECESSARY, STUDENTS TO TAKE THE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION AND BE TESTED AT SCHOOL.

WE WILL HAVE A COMPLETE PACKAGE TO SHARE WITH THE BOARD.

PLEASE BE AWARE, I THINK WE GOT THIS TWO DAYS AGO OR THE DAY BEFORE, BUT WITH THE TEST TO STAY, WE WILL HAVE OFFERINGS TO STUDENTS WHO ARE UNVACCINATED OR NOT UP TO DATE ON THEIR TESTING WHO WOULD NEED TO QUARANTINE.

AS WE DID HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE DURING OUR CIP BUDGET PROPOSAL PROCESS, OUR CIP IS PRIORITIZED AND INFORMED PRIMARILY BY STUDIES, ASSESSMENTS, FIELD STUDIES AND HISTORICAL DATA.

MANY OF OUR STUDIES ARE INFORMED USING THE TARGET ASSESSMENTS COMPLETED IN 2019.

SINCE THAT TIME, WE HAVE COMPLETED ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENTS TO INCLUDE ASSESSMENTS FOR ALL SCHOOL FACILITIES AS WELL AS OUR TARGETED INDOOR AIR QUALITY ASSESSMENTS WHICH TESTED FOR MULTIPLE ENVIRONMENTAL

THEY WERE LEANING AND BECOMING A SAFETY HAZARD SO WE DEMOLISHED THOSE AND REGRADED, RESLOPED AND WE ALSO GOT RID OF SOME OF THE PATIOS WHICH OVER THE YEARS HAVE HEAVED AND THEY WERE TIPPING BACK TOWARDS THE SCHOOL.

THE TREE ROOTS WERE CAUSING THAT TO HAPPEN.

SO THAT SPACE WAS RENDERED UNUSEFUL.

SO WE WENT IN AND DEMOLISHED THOSE AND NOW THE KINDERGARTEN CLASS CAN COME OUT AND USE THAT SPACE AND USE THAT ACT ACCESS, INGRESS, EGRESS TO THE PLAYGROUND.

MOUN RENOVATION IS ONGOING.

IT INCLUDED A REDESIGN OF THE KITCHEN WHICH INCLUDED TEARING DOWN WALLS, KNOCKING OPEN THE BACK AND GOING INTO THE WALL WHERE YOU WALK FROM THE KITCHEN UP TO THE CALF TIER BRINGING IN NEW WINDOWS.

WE HAD TO BUST UP SOME ASPHALT OUT IN THE DRIVE AISLE.

THE STORM LINE IS NO LONGER ADEQUATE SO WE ARE NOW GOING INTO THE DESIGN PHASE FOR THAT COURTYARD.

WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO RIP IT UP AND RESIZE PIPES SO WE CAN BETTER CONTROL EVERYTHING HAPPENING IN THAT COURTYARD.

IT'S NOT WATER YOU CAN DRINK BUT WATER THAT WOULD BE USED TO FLUSH TOILETS, ET CETERA.

I REACHED OUT TO THE PROJECT AMERICAN WHO WORKED ON IT BUT ORIGINALLY WHAT WAS GOING ON A FEW YEARS AGO IS THEY REALIZED THAT IT WASN'T WORKING AND HADN'T BEEN WORKING FOR A WHILE AND THEY WANTED TO DO REPAIRS TO IT AND THEY THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T BE COMPREHENSIVE BUT THAT'S AN UNDERGROUND SYSTEM.

IT HAS A LOT OF TYPING TO IT, A LOT OF ELECTRICAL TO MAKE IT RUN AND THE PROJECT FIXES, THEY DID NOT MOVE FORWARD.
